As deputy manager, Katie was involved in website maintenance, event coverage and special projects. She tracked and reported on capital case applications to the Supreme Court, and was involved in the production of SCOTUStalk.

Prior to joining SCOTUSblog, Katie was a fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan, where she led a research project on pretrial detention and assisted the legal department with various civil rights cases. Katie graduated from the University of Chicago in 2018 with a degree in Public Policy.
