The Wall Street Journal offers extensive coverage of yesterday’s decision in No. 06-937, Quanta v. LG. Jess Bravin’s article for the paper, here, describes the ruling as one in a series aimed at fostering “competition and innovation.” On the WSJ Law Blog, Ashby Jones interviews Bravin about the decision in language that even those of us who don’t specialize in patent law can understand. Finally, the WSJ has also included a video interview with their Supreme Court correspondent.
Pete Yost’s Associated Press article detailing the decision is available here.
Finally, Tony Mauro’s coverage for the Legal Times can be accessed here. Mauro’s piece includes comments from one Court watcher puzzled over the unanimous decision after the delay in issuing it.
