The Court is scheduled to hear oral argument at 10 a.m. in Medellin v. Texas (06-984), a case examining the President’s power to direct state courts to comply with U.S. treaty obligations as determined by international tribunals. Donald F. Donovan of New York, N.Y., and Solicitor General Paul Clement will argue for the petitioner, and Texas Solicitor General R. Ted Cruz will argue for the respondent.
