This week at the Court

On Monday the Courtissued ordersfrom the November 20 Conference. The Court disposed of one case with a summary ruling; in another, it allowed a challenge to the Affordable Care Act to proceed in the Fourth Circuit. Lylereportedon those orders. No new cases were granted on Monday, although as Lyle previouslyreported the Court had granted two cases from the November 20 Conference last Friday. We do not expect opinions this week.

The December sitting began on Monday. The Justices heard two oral arguments on Monday and one on each Tuesday and Wednesday.
