The Week Ahead

On Monday,  the Court will release the orders from the Justices private conference last Thursday. One or more opinions in pending cases may also be released.

The petitioner’s merit brief is due Monday in  Reed Elsevier, et al., v. Muchnick, et al. (08-103). No respondent’s brief is due this week.

The Justices will hold a private conference on Thursday, grants from which will be released the following Tuesday.
