We’ve switched our email subscription service
on Jul 12, 2021 at 1:08 pm
For those of you who receive daily updates of all articles posted on SCOTUSblog in your inbox, you might have noticed that the emails look a little different recently. That’s because we’ve switched the online platform we use to send the emails. The change shouldn’t cause any disruptions in service for existing subscribers, and it brings with it greater customizability.
For years, we sent out our daily updates via Feedburner. But Google has announced that it will be shutting down email subscriptions on that platform. So going forward, we’ll be sending our daily email updates using follow.it. If you would like to receive daily emails, simply scroll to the bottom of any page on SCOTUSblog and enter your email address in the sign-up box.
The new platform has options to adjust what you see from us. With Feedburner, we were locked in to one email per weekday, and each email contained the full text of each article. Using follow.it, you can change the frequency of the emails you receive, choose to receive updates only for certain content, or change the content of your emails from full articles to just the headlines, or vice versa. You can customize your feed here or by clicking “Manage your feeds” at the bottom of each email.
