• At the Associated Press, Jessica Gresko reports that Justice Sonia Sotomayor is touring for her newest children’s book, “Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You,” which was inspired by the justice’s own struggles as a child with diabetes and encourages “children to ask about other kids’ differences.”
• At the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (via Around the Circuit), Linda Satter reports that President Bill Clinton joined Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg yesterday in front of a “capacity crowd” at Verizon Arena in Little Rock, Arkansas, to discuss Ginsburg’s career and his decision to nominate her to the Supreme Court – a choice “he said he has never regretted.”
• At Take Care, Leah Litman and Kyle Skinner suggest that the Supreme Court’s stay permitting the federal government “to reappropriate funds that were originally set aside for the military” for the president’s border wall demonstrates “a level of deference toward the executive branch, and perhaps toward the Trump administration in particular, that is cause for concern.”
