On Monday the Court issued orders, including granting Kingdomware Tech. v. U.S., which Lyle reported on. The Court also issued decisions in City of Los Angeles v. Patel, Kimble v. Marvel Enterprises, Horne v. Department of Agriculture, and Kingsley v. Hendrickson.
On Thursday the Court issued its decisions in Texas Dept. of Housing v. Inclusive Communities Project, Inc. (Fair Housing Act and disparate impact) and King v. Burwell (ACA exchanges). We reported on both opinions and hosted a symposium on each, too. A menu of Thursday’s content is here. The Justices also met for their June 25 Conference.
On Friday the Court issued two opinions, Johnson v. U.S. (Armed Career Criminal Act) and Obergefell v. Hodges (marriage equality).
