On Monday the Court issued additional orders from the January 9 Conference. Lyle posted about the first set of orders from that Conference here, and the second set here. No new cases were granted. Monday was also the first day of the January sitting; the Justices will hear oral arguments this week in six cases. On Tuesday the Court issued two opinions, Whitfield v. United States and Jesinoski v. Countrywide Home Loans, Inc. On Wednesday the Court issued two more opinions, Jennings v. Stephens and T-Mobile South, LLC v. City of Roswell.
