March argument calendar, day by day

The Supreme Court on Wednesday released the schedule of oral arguments for the two-week sitting that begins on March 24, with a single argument set for each day and none in the afternoons. The Court will hear the combined cases on the new federal health care law’s contraceptive mandate on March 25.
The daily list of cases follows the jump, with a summary of the legal issue at stake in each. Each day’s argument begins at 10 a.m.
Monday, March 24:
Clark v. Rameker — whether an Individual Retirement Account that an individual inherited rather than created personally is exempted from a bankruptcy estate
Tuesday, March 25:
Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby Stores and Conestoga Wood Specialties v. Sebelius (consolidated for one hour of argument) — whether the Affordable Care Act’s mandate that employee health plans include birth control and other pregnancy-related services violates the religious rights of corporations and their owners
Wednesday, March 26:
Wood v. Moss — Secret Service agents’ plea for immunity from lawsuit for actions taken against demonstrators who were opposed to the president’s policies
Monday, March 31:
Alice Corporation Pty. v. CLS Bank International — patent eligibility of inventions that are implemented by a computer or an Internet link
Tuesday, April 1:
Loughrin v. United States — proof needed to convict an individual of bank fraud under federal law
Wednesday, April 2:
Fifth Third Bancorp. v. Dudenhoeffer — duty of managers of an employee stock ownership plan to stop investing in that company’s stock when that becomes risky
