The Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon issued its latest notice on its continued operation amid the government shutdown. This is the notice it posted on its website:
‘The Court will continue to conduct its normal operations through Friday, October 18. The Court building will be open to the public during its usual hours, and the Court will hear the scheduled oral arguments. A further update will be provided in the event the lapse of appropriations continues beyond October 18.”
The Court will not be in session on Monday, because of the legal holiday. Orders are scheduled to be released at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, and arguments will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday; the Justices’ private Conference will be held Friday.
