This week at the Court

On Monday, the Court summarily reversed the decision of the Ninth Circuit in Cavazos v. Smith. The Court also issued orders from its October 28 Conference. There are no new grants and no new CVSGs.
The November sitting also begins on Monday. The Justices are scheduled to hear two arguments each day from Monday through Wednesday. The full schedule for the November sitting is here.
The Justices will meet for another Conference on Friday, November 4. Our list of “Petitions to Watch” for that Conference will be available soon.
