It is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to attend a symposium in honor of Justice John Paul Stevens, to be held at the Georgetown University Law Center on Friday, October 8th, 2010. The symposium will mark the end of a historic week—the first week of the Court’s term without Justice Stevens. The event will bring together different perspectives to discuss and celebrate Justice Stevens’ time on the Court, including voices from both the academic and advocacy realms.

This symposium, which Justice Stevens will be attending, is sponsored by The Georgetown Law Journal and the Georgetown University Law Center’s Supreme Court Institute.”

Panelists include: Former Solicitors General Paul D. Clement and Gregory Garre, Acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal, Georgetown Law Center Dean William Treanor, Princeton Provost Christopher Eisgruber, as well as other former clerks, scholars, and advocates.
