On Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 9 a.m. EDT, Georgetown Law’s Supreme Court Institute will livestream its annual press briefing on major cases to be argued at the court this fall, on topics from the Affordable Care Act to a dispute over anti-discrimination policies and religious rights, as well as potential cases involving the 2020 election. Moderated by the Supreme Court Institute’s Irv Gornstein, the panel will feature professors Marty Lederman and Paul Smith of Georgetown Law alongside four experienced Supreme Court advocates in private practice: Paul Clement of Kirkland & Ellis, Roman Martinez of Latham & Watkins, Nicole Saharsky of Mayer Brown and Don Verrilli of Munger, Tolles & Olson.
Only journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Members of the public may watch the livestream on Georgetown Law’s Facebook page.
