Monday round-up

Coverage of the Court focused on Friday’s panel on transparency (or the perceived absence thereof) at the Court.  At the Blog of Legal Times, Matthew Huisman reports on the panel, which the BLT’s Tony Mauro moderated; Robert Barnes of The Washington Post discusses the panel and the issue of transparency more broadly.  Video of the event is available at C-SPAN.

At ISCOTUSnow, Carolyn Shapiro discusses two new in forma pauperis cases on the Court’s docket, both of which were granted last week:  Hall v. Florida, in which the Court will consider the constitutionality of Florida’s scheme for identifying death row inmates who are intellectually disabled and therefore ineligible for the death penalty; and Robers v. United States, in which the Court will consider whether a defendant returns “any part” of a fraudulent loan when he gives the lenders the collateral that secures the money.
