On Monday, the Court granted six new cases and issued an unsigned ruling, with no noted dissents, in the West Virginia congressional redistricting case — Tennant v. Jefferson County Commission (11-1184).
The October Term 2012 officially begins on Monday, October 1, when the Court will hear oral arguments in Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum Co. and Lozman v. City of Riviera Beach, Florida.
