on Aug 6, 2012 at 10:22 am
SCOTUSblog is pleased to announce the latest in its summer series of online symposia: a symposium on the role that the Supreme Court is likely to play in the upcoming presidential election. Our contributors will address — among other things — whether and how President Obama and Governor Romney and their respective campaigns may try to make the Court a campaign issue , as well as the role that recent decisions like Citizens United v. FEC and NFIB v. Sebelius will play in the election process.
Our scheduled contributors include:
- Nan Aron – President of Alliance for Justice Action Campaign
- Clint Bolick – Goldwater Institute
- Walter Dellinger – O’Melveny & Myers
- Chris Gober – Gober Hilgers
- Neil Kinkopf – Georgia State University College of Law
- Gordon Todd – Sidley Austin
