This week at the Court

There are no more oral arguments scheduled for this Term.
We expect the Court to issue orders from its June 2 Conference, as well as one or more opinions, on Monday. Our list of “Petitions to Watch†for that Conference is here. The Court has still not decided two cases from the November sitting – Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association and Flores-Villar v. United States – as well as one case from the December sitting, Janus Capital v. First Derivative Traders. (The full list of cases that have not yet been decided is available here.)  We also expect the Court to announce at least one opinion on Thursday.
The Court will meet for another Conference this Thursday, June 9. Our list of “Petitions to Watch†for that Conference will be available soon.
