Wednesday round-up

After a busy day on Monday, leading to substantial press coverage on Tuesday, coverage slowed down today.

Briefly:
Writing for the Wall Street Journal’s Washington Wire, Jess Bravin of the WSJ Blog reports on Justice Breyer’s comments on the Holocaust as part of the National Days of Remembrance. Among other things, the Justice indicated that he came to the event, which was sponsored at the Capitol by the Holocaust Memorial Museum, “as a judge and a Jew”in part to remember “that the Holocaust story ended with a fair trial.”

On Monday, the Court denied certiorari in a a dispute over whether to identify students challenging a private school system’s admissions policy that gives preference to those of Hawaiian ancestry. A report by the Associated Press (via the Washington Post) is available here.
