All is quiet at the Court, which is not expected to issue new (non-capital) orders or opinions until May 16. Here is today’s Court coverage, in brief:
- At Prawfsblawg, Kurt Lash asks, “Who is ‘the best there ever was’ as an advocate before the Supreme Court?†His answer? Hayden C. Covington.  There is a lively discussion in the comments to Lash’s post as well.
- The Associated Press (via Forbes) discusses the denial of certiorari in a case against an Arkansas-based poultry buyer in which a federal jury awarded $21.1 million (lowered to $14.5 million by the judge) to poultry farmers who claimed their contracts with the buyer were anti-competitive.
