This week and last week on the Wiki

Yesterday morning, the Court handed down opinions in four cases – Dolan v. United States, Holland v. Florida, Astrue v. Ratliff, and Carachuri-Rosendo v. Holder – and we have updated the pages for those cases on our sister site, SCOTUSwiki, to include links to the decisions. (The case page for Astrue also includes a recap by Akin Gump’s Sheila McCorkle, and commentary on the other three opinions will be added in the coming days.) We have also updated our case list for OT10 to include new pages for the three cases granted yesterday – CSX Transportation, Inc. v. Alabama Department of Revenue, Matrixx Initiatives, Inc. v. Siracusano, and Cullen v. Pinholster – and one case in which the Court postponed jurisdiction, Schwarzenegger v. Plata.
Following three opinions last week, we have updated the pages for those newly decided cases as well. To the case page for Krupski v. Costa Crociere, we have added a link to the decision and commentary by Kevin Russell of Howe & Russell; in addition, we have updated the case page for Hamilton v. Lanning to include the opinion and a recap by Stanford Law School’s Sina Kian, and the case page for Barber v. Thomas now links to the opinion and includes a recap by Carl Cecere of Akin Gump.
We have also updated the case page for Connick v. Thompson to include a link to the petitioners’ brief, which was filed last week. We have also added a link to a new amicus brief to the case page for Bruesewitz v. Wyeth.
As we do every week, we have continued to update our compilation of media coverage on the Kagan nomination to include links to new articles and analysis. We have also continued to update individual case pages to reflect ongoing media and blogosphere coverage of issues before the Court.
