Today at the Court
on Apr 20, 2010 at 7:00 am
We’re expecting one or more opinions this morning from the Court starting at 10 a.m. Â We will be “live” blogging.
Then the Court will hear oral argument in just one case, Dolan v. United States (09-367).  The question presented is whether a district court may order a convicted defendant to pay restitution after the expiration of the ninety-day period prescribed by the Mandatory Victims Restitution Act of 1996.  Carl Cecere of Akin Gump previewed the case yesterday for SCOTUSblog.
[Disclosure: Akin Gump and Howe & Russell represent the petitioner in this case, but Carl was not involved in the case.]
