Jeff Shesol, author of the recently released book Supreme Power: Franklin Roosevelt vs. the Supreme Court, is doing a live chat on SCOTUSblog this Thursday, April 15 at 2 p.m. Eastern.  This event was rescheduled from last Friday.  The details appear again below.
As the title suggests, Supreme Power is about Franklin Roosevelt’s plan to “pack” the Court with more than nine justices. Â For thirty minutes starting at 2, Jeff will field questions on the book, and on this period in the history of the Supreme Court. Â Readers will be able to submit questions in the live chat window, and someone from SCOTUSblog will moderate.
If you can’t make it online at the rescheduled time, we are still taking questions in advance, some of which Jeff will answer during the chat.  To submit a question, email elmiller@akingump.com.
Jeff is a former speechwriter for Bill Clinton and a founding partner at West Wing Writers, a political speechwriting company. For more background on Jeff and Supreme Power, see SCOTUSblog’s two-part interview with him last month.
