The Court is expected to release one or more opinions at 10 a.m.  Then it will hear oral arguments in the following cases:
10 a.m. – In United States v. Comstock (08-1224), the Court will consider the constitutionality of continued imprisonment of a sex offender, after that individual has completed serving a prison sentence for the crimes. Anna Christensen of Howe & Russell previewed the case for SCOTUSblog.
11 a.m. – In Abbott v. Abbott (08-645), the issue raised is the scope of “rights of custody” for purposes of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Jonathan Eisenman of Akin Gump discusses the arguments in the case here.
