New Filing: United States v. Stevens

Yesterday we filed this Brief on the Merits for Respondent in case No. 08-769, United States v. Robert J. Stevens. The question presented is whether 18 U.S.C. 48 (prohibiting depictions of animal cruelty) is facially invalid under the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment. The case is scheduled for oral argument on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
