Today the Stanford Law School Supreme Court Litigation Clinic with Jeffrey Fisher as counsel of record is filing this cert. reply brief in Dunphy v. United States. At issue in the case is whether the Federal Sentencing Guidelines are binding when a district court imposes a new sentence pursuant to a revised guideline range under 18 U.S.C. § 3582. The National Association of Federal Defenders filed an amicus brief in support of the petitioner in the case.
