Today at the Supreme Court: 12/4/06

Today at 10 AM eastern, the Court will release an Orders List relating to its Conference of 12/1 (it granted three cases on Friday afternoon – see here). We will link to the complete list as soon as possible, though an analysis of today’s orders will be somewhat delayed.

The Court will then hear two hours of oral argument in cases dealing with voluntary school integration programs. It will first hear one hour of argument in Parents Involved v. Seattle School District followed by one hour of argument in Meredith v. Jefferson County (combined preview here). Audio of today’s two arguments will be made available shortly after their conclusion; C-SPAN‘s coverage of the cases begins at 11:15 AM eastern today. Transcripts will also be available this afternoon.
