No oral arguments are scheduled and no non-capital orders or opinions are expected to be issued today. The Chief Justice is considering a stay application in Blackwater Security Consulting v. Nordan (06A396), a case growing out of the deaths of four American private workers in Iraq in March 2004. The dispute involves the proper court in which damage claims on behalf of those workers’ estates are to be tried.
