A Banner Sitting for Jones Day

Following up on Marty’s post about arguing counsel, it’s worth highlighting that Jones Day is arguing three cases this sitting. On February 22, Los Angeles partner Craig Stewart will argue the Lingle takings case. The next day, Washington, DC, partner Greg Castanias will argue the Saudi Basic Industries case on the Rooker-Feldman doctrine. And on March 1, Washington, DC, partner Don Ayer will argue for the plaintiffs in the consolidated Section 1367 diversity jurisdiction cases.
Those three arguments are in addition to three others for the firm this Term. For example, Washington partner Glen Nager argued the City of Jackson ADEA case against me in November. And Don Ayer argued and won (8-1) the Koons Buick TILA case in October.
