Today’s orders in brief

The Court has granted three new cases:
- Henderson v. United States
- Chappell v. Ayala, in which it added an additional question: whether the court of appeals properly applied the standard articulated in Brecht v. Abrahamson; and
- City of Los Angeles v. Patel
The Court also invited the Solicitor General to file a brief expressing the views of the United States in an original action, a water dispute between Mississippi and Tennessee.
